What is this new NFHCA Spiideo mandate?
Like with TeamXStream Spiideo will host the universal collection of every single collegiate field hockey game played in the entire season and shared with every single program.
What is different from previous years' league exchange?
Every game in the Spiideo league exchange will be broken down using AutoData and viewable by all programs.
Do I have to buy a Spiideo camera system?
A Spiideo camera system is not mandatory for this exchange, however, if you have a Spiideo camera system you can send or receive games directly to or from the exchange with a few clicks of a button, saving time every week.
What part is mandatory?
Every program must select one of the five packages to be included in the NFHCA Film Exchange. Two packages are without a Spiideo camera system and three packages include a Spiideo camera system.
Will everyone get to see the AutoData tags of all the games?
Yes. Everyone will have access to Autodata breakdowns of all games across the exchange. Increasing parity and allowing for the best teams to win!
How could this help my sports information department?
You can give access to your Spiideo Perform account to your Sports Information Director, for those on lite or basic accounts they can screen capture in the app and pull highlights using Autodata. PRO and PRO Plus accounts can download specific clips out of the system. Any subscription with a camera comes with 12 live streams that can act as free standing streams or be the tactical view that is a part of a larger live stream.
Is the Spiideo League Exchange only for Spiideo video?
No, you can upload any game video to the cloud platform.
How do we upload video?
Using Spiideo footage, the games are automatically uploaded – live! Other video sources must upload the video manually, and then it's available for all teams in the cloud.
Does Spiideo offer behind the goal camera systems?
Yes. A spiideo scene can include unlimited number of camera systems and the NFHCA has pre-negotiated discounted pricing on camera systems.
Will my personal tags in lite/pro/pro plus be shared with other teams?
No. All tags done within Spiideo by individual users will remain private in their own account.
Can I download other team’s games with the basic package?
Yes, unlimited downloads are possible within the Spiideo exchange.
I already have Spiideo, how does this affect me?
All current Spiideo customers will hear from their customer success manager in the near future to match their existing subscription with what is being offered in the exchange.
Can you get panoramic video from non-Spiideo video?
No, only Spiideo footage will provide full panorama together with multiple AutoFollow feeds (unless the video is fully zoomed out to cover the entire pitch, and you can still pinch/zoom manually).
Can Spiideo integrate with 3rd party software?
Yes, Spiideo feeds from the exchange can be live ingested into third party software (Sportscode etc.) with a PRO+ package and CloudLink add-on. Please contact Scott Vallow to discuss your options.
My team has more than 35 players, can we have more accounts?
Yes, within reason you can raise the number of accounts so long as they are a part of your team.
What if my program can't afford the basic package of $295 for the NFHCA Film Exchange with autodata investment?
Programs facing financial hardship can apply for a financial hardship waiver by June 15 through the NFHCA here. With a limited number of waivers available annually, newer programs started in the last four years will be given priority, along with Division III institutions facing financial hardship. Not all waiver requests can be granted.
Will I still have access to old games on the TeamXStream Exchange?
You will have access until April 15th 2024 to download any games from previous seasons. Video will not be transferred or kept from that exchange.
