Spiideo Play is an automated production platform that enables live game coverage as a fully automated production, a complementary layer to existing broadcast workflows, or a hybrid of both; giving leagues, broadcasters, and rights holders flexible, scalable production at every level of sport. AI Highlights is the latest addition to Spiideo Play, extending its automation capabilities from live production into automated highlight and clip creation.

Unlike traditional highlight tools that rely solely on rule-based clipping, AI Highlights combines video, event data, audio commentary, and contextual understanding to generate dynamic, story-driven content tailored for different audiences and platforms.

As part of Spiideo Play, AI Highlights slots directly into the production pipeline, ensuring that every game generates publish-ready content without additional tooling or manual effort.

AI Highlights will be available starting May 5, 2026, with initial support for soccer, ice hockey, basketball and handball.
