How Spiideo’s video automation platform is powering player development at MADE x HMBL
With Spiideo, MADE x HMBL trainers use multi-angle camera feeds on the floor to break down form, defensive footwork, and spatial awareness in real time. Every session is logged automatically, so athletes can review film, spot mistakes, and track their development over time. When league games tip off, Spiideo captures high-definition footage and highlights that give the MADE x HMBL community the visibility they deserve.
Spiideo’s platform supports programming at every level of the facility. The Adult League fields 8 teams of 10 players — roughly 80 athletes per season — coached and developed by a rotating staff of trainers. Summer camps bring in over 40 kids daily, with 4 to 5 trainers on the floor each session. For elite clinics and camps, MADE x HMBL regularly hosts 50 to 100 participants at a time, supported by up to 10 trainers.
“Our mission has always been to redefine what’s possible in youth basketball. At MADE, development isn’t just something we do, it’s embedded in who we are. That’s why we’re committed to bringing the latest technology into the game to elevate the athlete experience,” said Chad Babel, CEO of MADE Hoops. “Technology is becoming an essential part of player development, and this partnership ensures our athletes have access to the tools they need to learn faster, develop smarter, and maximize their potential. We believe the future of player development is driven by innovation, measurable progress, and access, and this partnership brings that vision to life.”
By integrating Spiideo into the MADE x HMBL ecosystem, we're combining elite coaching with advanced video and performance technology to give athletes deeper insights into their game and a clearer path to improvement.
Located in one of Brooklyn’s most prominent basketball communities, the MADE x HMBL facility is reshaping what player development looks like. The Spiideo integration makes it one of the few independent training programs in the Northeast United States where athletes can access automated film review, real-time video feedback, and professional-quality highlight footage without manual camera operation.
“MADE x HMBL has built something special in Fort Greene. This is an environment where the coaching, the culture, and the technology all work together” said Matthew Delicâte, SVP of North America at Spiideo.
The best development programs treat video as a core coaching tool and that's exactly how MADE x HMBL uses Spiideo. It shows how their trainers and athletes engage with the platform every single day.
