PRESS RELEASE
Urban Edge Network and Spiideo Partner with Red River Athletic Conference to Modernize Collegiate Sports Broadcasting
WACO, TEXAS — October, 2026 — Urban Edge Network (UEN) is partnering with Spiideo to modernize collegiate sports broadcasting for the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) through artificial intelligence, automated production and expanded digital distribution.
Spiideo’s platform offers automated camera tracking, remote production, intelligent camera switching, instant replay and AI-generated highlights. These capabilities will help participating institutions deliver professional-quality broadcasts while creating additional content for social media, digital engagement and commercial sponsorship opportunities.
The collaboration also positions UEN and the RRAC to capitalize on the evolving advertising marketplace. As major advertising holding companies and global brands increasingly adopt AI-driven planning, programmatic activation and agent-based media buying, UEN is developing monetization strategies designed to make collegiate sports inventory more accessible, measurable and attractive to advertisers.
AI is transforming both sides of our business—how sports are produced and how advertising is purchased. Together with Spiideo and the Red River Athletic Conference, we’re building a smarter, more scalable media platform that gives student-athletes greater exposure while positioning our conference partners for the next generation of advertising investment.
“Building on what we’ve started, teaming up with Spiideo and UEN takes our reach to the next level in the world of small college athletics. People watch sports to be entertained, and now we have a great stage to showcase our student-athletes—including several programs that consistently compete at the NAIA national level—for everyone to enjoy,” said Jason Horn, Commissioner, Red River Athletic Conference. Beyond the action, this partnership provides an opportunity for our member institutions to build real corporate partnerships and lead the way.”
“We’re pleased to deepen our partnership with UEN and the NAIA community,” said Matthew Delicâte, SVP of North America at Spiideo. “Our goal is to make it simple for conferences and schools to put their games in front of fans. Spiideo’s platform gives RRAC institutions a dependable, broadcast-quality solution while reducing the resources required to produce their games.”
The initiative will support the continued development of the Red River Sports Network across UEN’s digital ecosystem, including web, mobile, supported connected-TV distribution and social media platforms. Implementation of Spiideo technology will be coordinated with participating institutions based on venue requirements and production readiness.
